Our Mission
The mission of the RTCA is to minister to the people on the
backside of thoroughbred and harness racetracks throughout the country. Our
chaplains are now serving on (72) tracks throughout the United States. It is
our intention to minister directly to the (250,000) racetrack dwellers and to
continue to reach out to the 3 million individuals involved in the industry.
With an evangelical perspective our chaplains are sharing the Gospel in
spiritual, social and practical ways. We believe RTCA is different from any
other religious organization in that its particular ministry is to a special
community, the racetrack family. We remain true to the Great
Commission.* |
The Message
Jesus said to Thomas "I am THE WAY, THE TRUTH, and THE LIFE. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
John 14:5 NKJV
The world will tell you that whatever name you choose to call your god is
alright, that we are all talking about the same god, and whatever name you
choose is OK. Clearly, this is WRONG. According to our Lord Jesus, this is not
the case at all. There is only ONE door to eternal life, and His name is Jesus The Christ!
Also in the Gospel of John we read these words of Truth "But as many as received Him (Jesus) to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His Name." John
1:12
Jesus is the Answer! Both now and forever!
For more information on receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior contact any Race
Track Chaplain. You will never be sorry.
The RTCA was organized in 1971 by concerned Christians to help the men and women
at the race track and their familes, many of whom had no religious community or
leader to turn to in times of crisis.
